The following bare root trees are typically available to order and will arrive in the Spring. When you order, we will give you an estimated date that the trees will arrive. Customers have a 3-4 day window of time to pick up their order. Delivery is not available. Any orders not picked up within the 3-4 day window will be subject for re-sale on the last day. Bulk orders may receive discount pricing.

Aspen Trees
Quaking Aspen
The small leaves of this native tree tremble in the slightest breeze for a beautiful effect. It is indifferent to soil conditions, and can be found in moist, shallow, rocky, or clay soils. The bark is an attractive greenish white. This is an excellent tree for naturalizing. The seed strain we use at Bailey Nurseries is resistant to black spot.

Oak Trees
Bur Oak
Native from Nova Scotia to Manitoba and south to Pennsylvania and Texas, this beautiful oak has attractive corky bark especially interesting in winter. Hackberry Trees
Common Hackberry
Hackberry is known for its attractive bark that is corky and rough in texture. The bright green elm-like foliage turns to a soft yellow in the fall, and the fruits are relished by wildlife. With a round open form, it grows at a moderate to rapid rate. Extremely hardy, and adaptable to a range of urban environments including alkaline soils, drought, and windy conditions.
